Directions
Our address is 3, rue Louis Pergaud, 70160 Breurey Lès Faverney. We are situated on the western outskirt of the village. As you go towards Faverney by Rue de Presle (D5), the château can be seen on the left. The gatehouse is at 20, rue de la Presle. Breurey Lès Faverney lies about 15 km north of the N19 road between Langres and Mulhouse and a similar distance west of the N57 road from Nancy to Besancon. Our GPS Coordinates are : N 47° 45′ 24″ E 06° 07′ 40″.
By Car
Langres marks the junction between the A5 motorway coming from Paris and Calais (A26) and the A31 from Luxembourg to Provence and the Côte d’Azur. A little further to the South is the A36 motorway carrying traffic from Strasbourg and Karlsruhe to Beaune.
By Rail
The nearest station is at Vesoul, (20 km) on the main line between Paris Gare de l’Est and Mulhouse/Bâle. Alternatively, guests can travel by train to Besancon and take a coach from Besancon to Vesoul. We can arrange transport to and from Vesoul station.
By Air
The nearest international airport is Bâle-Mulhouse, 90 mins drive away. The airport is served by several major international airlines as well as Easy-Jet and Ryanair. Again, we can arrange transport to and from the airport. Alternatively, a number of car hire companies are present at the airport.

Answers to common questions
- Do you offer meals?
Breakfast is included for all of our clients. We prepare every morning with fresh ingredients and homemade specialties. You can also dine at the Château for €50 per person. We offer our guests a multiple course dinner. Have a look at our Gastronomy page for more information about a typical dinner at the Château and the organic vegetable garden and our wine cellar.
- Can I pay by credit/debit card?
We are happy to offer our clients the possibility to pay the way it works best for you. We accept cash payments and we can also process credit or debit card (VISA/MASTER) payments directly at the Château.
- Can I bring my animal(s)?
The Château is already a home for our dogs, cats and two donkeys. Your animals are always welcome for an additional fee of €15 per night and per animal, donated entirely to local associations for the protection of animals. If you do wish to bring your pet, please advise us in advance. A copy of the animal’s health/vaccination certificate will be required.
- Do I have to pay a deposit for my reservation?
Only if you intend to rent the lodge for which we ask for a 30% deposit. Special stays such as Christmas, New Year, and others or if you want to offer a stay at the Château to someone else, we ask that you pay in full before you stay. For rooms or suites, we operate on a basis of mutual trust. In case of cancellation, please notify us as soon as possible.
- How can I reach the Château if I use public transportation?
If necessary, we can organize a transport from the train station or the airport to the Château.
- Are young children welcome?
Of course, but if you dine at the castle we ask that the children eat before. We can organize a baby-sitter, a baby phone, or according to their age the use of a DVD player. We provide you with a baby bed, bottle warmer and small pots, changing cushion, and a highchair.
